![]() On my MacBook Pro with OSX 10.13I had a 240gb Solid state hard drive, but I needed bigger! So I got a new Kensington 480gb SSD. Once you have the disk selected, click on the 'Erase' tab on the right. Once Disk Utility is open, select the new drive from the list on the left. In all versions of OS X you can find Disk Utility in the Utilities menu at the top in 10.7, it's also in the main list in the center of the screen.
